Marcelle B. Dierlam

Marcelle B. Dierlam, 78, of rural Ft. Branch, died at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday. Feb. 11, 1997, at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

She was born Oct. 1, 1918 in Gibson County. She was a graduate of Owensville High School in 1936. Mrs. Dierlam was retired from Emge Packing Company. She was a member of Bethlehem General Baptist Church.

Preceding in death were her parents, William Orville and Brittie Ethel (Bowman) Bush.

Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Opal R (or Raymond Opal) Dierlam; four brothers, James Bush of Owensville, Robert Bush of Poseyville, John Bush of Dubois, and W.O. Bush, Jr. of Owensville; three sisters, Alice E Strickland of Sarasota, Fla., Margaret Yeager of Seymour, and Maxine Newman of Haubstadt; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Holder Funeral Home, 319 Main St., Owensville, with the Rev. Motz officiating. Burial will be in Owensville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 until 8 p.m. today.
