DONALD W. STONE
Donald W. Stone, 55, Indianapolis, died Jan. 18, while
vacationing at Chandler, Ariz.
He was born Nov. 5, 1932 in Princeton, the son of Martha
(Woods) Stone and the late Ray Stone.
Stone was a heavy equipment operator for Wilhelm Construction
Company for the past 29 years.
He was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Noblesville,
Independent Order of Ogsters, Local No. 103 in Indianapolis and a veteran of
the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army.
Surviving besides his mother, are his wife, Oma Ruth (Hale)
Stone; two sons, the Rev. Jess Stone of Noblesville and Jim Stone of Chandler,
Ariz.; three grandchildren, two foster grandchildren and a foster
great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted Friday at the Pasco Memorial
Mortuary in Greenfield, with his son and the Rev. Jack Smith officiating. Interment was in Washington Park East Cemetery
in Indianapolis.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Church of
Noblesville.
