Allen T. Elliott, 83, died at 10:15 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 10, 1985 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.

He was born Sept. 18, 1901 in Gibson County.

He resided in Vincennes for the past 12 years, moving from Hazleton. Elliott was a retired employee of Devoe-Reynolds where he worked for more than 25 years.

Preceding in death were his parents, Joseph Elliott and Louisa Jane Cunningham, and his wife, Myrtle (Waters) Elliott, who died in 1977.

Surviving are five sons, Warren Elliott of Evansville, Ind., Melvin Elliott and Carl Elliott, both of Hazleton, Duane Elliott of Princeton and Lindy Elliott of Vincennes and a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Sharon) Taylor of Bruceville, Ind.; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Fay Greer of Russiaville, Ind.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. CST Sunday at Colvin Funeral Home, 425 N. Main St., Princeton, with the Rev. Wendell Allen officiating. Burial will be in IOOF cemetery in Hazleton.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 until 9 p.m. CST Saturday.
