James Wayne
Walters, 58, of 829 S. First St., Princeton died, Monday,
December 28, 1970, in Gibson General Hospital after
a short illness.
Mr.
Walters was born April 25, 1912 in Owensville to S.J. and Amanda Belle Richards Walters. .
He had resided in Princeton the past 45 years. Mr. Walters was an employee
of Hansens Mfg. Co. Mr. Walters was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. He was also a member
of Eagles Lodge of Princeton.
Surviving are his wife, Imogene, one
daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Fettinger of Princeton; two
sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Ida) Douglas of Princeton and Mrs. Lucretia
Madden of Owensville; two grandsons, Phillip Glenn Fettinger
and Timothy Wayne Fettinger of Princeton.
He
was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jerry Walters; two sisters, Dona
Garrison, of Owensville, and Mrs.
Myrtle Elliott, Hazleton; and two
brothers, Elvin Walters of Cynthiana, and Lilburn Walters of Owensville.
Services
will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at
Kendall Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Rev.
Karl McClure and Rev. Charles Walls will officiate.
Mr.
Walters is at the Kendall Funeral Home where friends may call after 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday.
