Mrs. Marjorie Wilson Shipman, 62, of Rock Island, Ill., died Wednesday at 9:20 a.m. at St. Anthony’s hospital in Rock Island after four months illness.

Mrs. Shipman was born January 20, 1909 in Princeton. She had resided in Rock Island for years, moving there from Princeton. Mrs. Shipman was an Air-Mail messenger. She attended the First Baptist Church in Rock Island. Mrs. Shipman was a member of the Ladies of the Moose.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lem Small of Princeton and Mrs. Mary Niederbrach of Rock Island; one brother, Robert Wilson of Houston, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Maple Hill Cemetery, Rev. Frank Chittock will officiate.

Friends may call at the Colvin and Son Funeral Home after 12 noon Saturday.
