Melvin R. Norrick, 63, of Francisco died Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Gibson General Hospital after several months illness.

Mr. Norrick was born March 9, 1908 near Winslow. He resided in Francisco the past three years moving there from Anderson. Mr. Norrick was a retired mechanic.

          Surviving are his wife, Beatrice of Kansas City, Kan.; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Hollingsworth of Francisco, Mrs. Bobby Hon of Anderson and Mrs. Russell Bookout of Kansas City, Kans.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Audrey Coleman of Princeton; two sons, Harold Norrick of Francisco and Earl Norrick of Hazleton; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Weedman of Winslow and Mrs. Orville Page of Glezen; three brothers, Frank and Charles of Winslow and Victor of Petersburg and 28 grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Colvin Chapel with Rev. James L. Hape officiating.

Friends may call at Colvin and Son Mortuary after 3 p.m. Friday.
