GEORGE MCCLELLAN

George McClellan of Princeton died Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Gibson General Hospital.

He was a former resident of Mount Carmel, Ill. He was born in Gibson County on May 19, 1889, the son of Nancy Lucas and George McClellan. He was married to Leona Dale White on April 14, 1914.

He is survived by two children; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and seven brothers and sisters.

He was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Mount Carmel.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Roy D. Short Memorial Chapel in Mount Carmel, Ill., with Rev. Ira Wilson officiating. Burial was in Maumee Cemetery.
