Forrest W Mattingly

Forrest W. Mattingly, 69, died early Monday morning, May 11, 1970, at Welborn Hospital. Mr. Mattingly was born Sept. 9, 1900 in Jeffersonville to John and Odessa ‘Della’ Mattingly.

Surviving are his mother, Della of Ft. Branch; his wife, Merle; five step-children, Mrs. Thelma Howell of Chicago, Mrs. Joe Jarvis of St. Louis, Fred Gray and James Hickrod both of Chicago, and max of Fort Branch; two brothers, Gilbert Mattingly of Fort Branch and Ralph of Jeffersonville.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Laib Chapel with Rev. roger Dean officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Owensville.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
