Miss
Frances Chappell, one of Francisco’s older senior citizens, died Sunday, April 6, 1975, at the age of 95 at
Gibson General Hospital after an illness of several months.
Miss
Chappell was born March 18, 1880, in Pike County near Arthur. She moved to
Francisco from Owosso, Mich., 20 years ago. She was a retired hospital
administrator. She was a member of Francisco General Baptist Church, Eastern
Star of Oakland City, and a lifetime member of the American Hospital
Association.
Surviving
are two nieces, Mrs. Mildred Krupicka, Francisco, and
Mrs. Russell Baldwin, East Aurora, N.Y.; two nephews, William J. Chappell, Las
Vegas, Nev., and John E. Chappell, Princeton.
Services
will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Francisco General Baptist Church, Rev.
Jack Gowen and Rev. Ralph Miller officiating. Burial
will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Winslow.
Friends
may call at Colvin & Son Mortuary after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The body will be
taken to the church at noon Wednesday.
