Dortha Johnson Walker was born on July 3, 1900 in Perry County IN, to John Daniel Johnson and Priscilla Jane (Cronin) Johnson. She married Walter Walker, with whom she had seven children, Fern Eloise, John Alfred, Norma Lee, Walter Wallace Jr., Alma Fayetta, Alva Ray and Charles Wayne.

She passed away at her home in Princeton on January 18, 1962. She was 61 years old.
