Rosa B. Meyer, 77, died instantly Wednesday morning (May 1963) after being struck by a passenger train in Haubstadt. Mrs. Meyer, enroute to early Mass at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, was walking west near the Puckett & Lynn Lumber Co. when the accident occurred.

Surviving are two sons, Frederick and “Bud;” and two daughters, Mrs. Henry Schultheis and Norma Meyer.
