WILLIAM C. BENSON

William C. Benson, 94, died Sunday at Gibson General Hospital. He was born west of Owensville on April 25, 1868 the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Benson. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Benson was married to Laura Thompson in October 1890 and the couple had celebrated their 67^th wedding anniversary in 1956, preceding Mrs. Benson’s death in 1957. They were parents of seven children including the deceased, Marian Eckles, Lois Mauck and Lucile Benson. The survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Fred Blaze and Mrs. W. B. Johnson’ and two sons, M. I. and D. C. Benson.
