OWENSVILLE NEWSPAPER, MAY 1959--

John Massey, 76, who owned and operated a grocery store

north of Poseyville, died unexpectedly Monday at his home.

Massey had been to Owensville earlier in the day and became

ill shortly after arriving home. Surviving are his wife, Lotus; a

son Jack; two sisters, Tela Rumbough and Anna Phillips; and

two brothers Thomas and William.
