Anna M. Driskell

 

Anna M. Driskell, 75, died at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 1956, at the Colonial Nursing Home where she had been a patient since January 8.  She had been ill for the past four weeks.

 

She was born in 1880 in Crawford County and had lived in Princeton for the past 61 years. Her husband, John, was killed in the Francisco Mine explosion in 1927.

 

Survivors include three sons, John Driskell, owner of Driskell Grocery, Clifford Driskell, also of Princeton, and George Harold Driskell of Dayton, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Esther Comer of Princeton and Mrs. Ethel Hadley of Mt. Carmel, Ill.; three brothers, ______ O. Carrell of Medina, N.Y.; Charles F. Carrell of Indianapolis; and Andrew Carrell of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Stella A Pruitt of Atlanta, Ga.; and Mrs. Marguerite K___k of Detroit, Mich.; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 1956 at the Wright and Kendall Funeral home by the Rev L. C. Jefferys. Burial will be in the IOOF cemetery.

 

Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday.
