Mrs. Emma Brock

OAKLAND CITY, Aug. 2 – (Special) Mrs. Emma Brock, 79, wife of John Brock and a resident of Oakland City for 61 years, died at 11 o’clock last night at her home on Jackson Street.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Surviving besides her husband, are a daughter, Miss Ola Brock, teacher in Murray State Teachers College at Murray, Ky., and a son, Ottie Brock, owner of the Brock Monument company in Vincennes.

Mrs. Brock was one of the oldest residents of Oakland City and had a host of friends. Mr. and Mrs. Brock celebrated their 61^st wedding anniversary last November.

NOTE: Burial was in Montgomery Cemetery, Gibson County, Indiana
