Mary Jane Garrett
Owensville, April 10, 1939 –
(Special) – Following a long illness, Mrs. Mary Jane Garrett, 72 years old,
wife of Mahlon Garrett, died at her home in
Owensville at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 9,
1939.
Surviving are a son, Harold of
Owensville; four daughters, Mrs. Carl Johnson and Mrs. Roy Dodd, both of Yoncalla, Ore.; Mrs. T. Lyle of Mitchell, Ill.; and Mrs.
Ada Robb of Owensville; and the husband, Mahlon.
Funeral services will be conducted
Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Maumee church with Elder A.A. Shoultz
officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Garrett was a member of the
American Legion Auxiliary, which will present music during the services.
