Princeton Daily Clarion Newspaper Dated Monday, July 28, 1930

 

Paul Louis Burton, six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Burton, died at 7 o’clock Saturday evening at the Methodist hospital. Death followed an appendicitis operation. He had been ill for three days.

            Funeral services were held at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon at the Pentecostal tabernacle in Stout street, conducted by the Rev. _ _ _ne, of Mt. Carmel.

Burial was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.

            Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Burton, Stout Street; two brothers, James and Bobbie Joe, at home; eight sisters, Mrs. Nancy Dyehouse, Mt. Carmel, Mrs. Mabel Turby, Princeton, Mrs. Opal Hadley, Baldwin Heights, Anna, Catherine, Geneva, Georgia, and Dolores at home.

            The decedent was born in Princeton December 11, 1923. He attended Sunday school at the Pentecostal tabernacle.
