Hiram Wilson Keith, age 75 years, 9 months, and 11 days, died Monday night at 11:20 o’clock at the home of his son, William Keith, seven miles west of the city.  Death was due to infirmities of old age.

The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 11: o’clock at the Decker Chapel.  Burial will take place in the Decker cemetery .

The deceased was united in marriage to Elizabeth Phillips, June 25, 1867, who died 5 years ago.  And to this union nine children were born, six of whom survive.  They are:  John of Beebe, Ark.;  William, of Princeton;  Thomas Keith, of Francisco;  Mrs. Mary Whiting and Mrs. Nannie Stott of this city;  and Mrs. Mattie Backmeyer of Victoria, Mo.;  also one sister, Mrs. Mary Moore, of Shawnee, Okla.
