Mrs. Katherine Jones, age 69, widow of the late George Jones, passed away at 11 o'clock Friday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Curtner Elliott, east of Hazleton. Death was sudden after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Shiloh church, near Hazleton, in charge of Rev. Stoefer, of the Nazarene church, this city, and Rev. W. A. Skelton, of Hazleton M. E. church. Interment in the church cemetery.

Surviving to mourn the death of Mrs. Jones are three children, George L. Jones of Chesterton, Ind., Mrs. William Townsend, north Third street this city, Mrs. Elliott, with whom she resided, two brothers and one sister, Henry F. and Joseph Wolfe, and Mrs. E. E. Sisson all of Hazleton. Twenty two grandchildren also survive.
