Obituary from Princeton, Indiana newspaper November 18, 1929

Mrs. Katherine May (Blythe) Hart, age 56, widow of the late John Hart, passed away at 5 o’clock Monday morning at her home, two and one-half miles north of the city, following a lingering illness.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced.

Surviving to mourn the death of Mrs. Hart, are one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Wright; two sons, Ralph and Paul Hart, all of near Princeton; five sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Pearl Johnson, Mrs. Mary Bryant of Owensville, Miss Martha Blythe, of Terre Haute, Mrs. Fannie Wel(i)man, this city; Mrs. Maggie Wire of Cynthiana; Thomas Blythe of Owensville, Preston Blythe of Cynthiana,  Dr. J. D. Blythe of Evansville, and Russell Blythe of Indianapolis and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Hart was a member of the General Baptist Church near Owensville. She had resided in and near Princeton the greater part of her life.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at White Church west of the city, in charge of Rev. J. C. Cummins, of the General Baptist Church. Interment in the church cemetery.
