Mrs. Cynthia Ann Braselton

Mrs. Cynthia Flinn Braselton, wife of David Braselton, died at 10:30 o’clock Saturday night at their home in Patoka. She had been in failing health for some time. She was 76 years of age. (per death record, 75 years, 11 months, 16 days)

The funeral was held at 3 o’clock this after at the Patoka Methodist church, conducted by Rev. Hill of Owensville. Burial was in Patoka cemetery.

The decedent is survived by the husband and a son, Orville, of Evansville.

The decedent had been a resident of Patoka and vicinity for the past twenty years.

Per the Gibson County Health Department Record of Death, Book H-22, Page 55, Cynthia Ann Flinn Brazelton, aged 75 years, 11 months, 16 days, was born September 25, 1850 in Illinois and died September 11, 1926 at her home in Patoka. Her husband’s name was David. Her father’s name was Wm. Flynn (should be spelled Flinn), born in Indiana; and her mother’s name was Sarah Jefferys, (Jefferies) born in Illinois.
