                 HIRAM MASSEY DEAD

  Succumbs at Owensville Following Paralytic Attack Monday

  Hiram Massey, 45 years old, a well-known resident of Owensville, and half brother of the late John B. Massey, died at 8 o'clock this morning following a paralytic stroke which he suffered last Monday when he was suddenly overcome at his barn and found there by his wife.

  Mr. Massey's mother, 90 years old, survives him.  His wife and three children, two girls and one boy, comprise the immediate family.

  Funeral arrangements had not been announced this morning.

            

                   FUNERAL OF HIRAM MASSEY

OWENSVILLE, IND. Dec. 19.  The funeral of Hiram B. Massey, whose death occurred Friday morning from a paralytic stroke suffered Monday, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the General Baptist Church.  The interment will be in the Owensville Cemetery.

  Mr. Massey was born in Owensville and had always made his home here.  He was the junior member of the firm of Massey & Mauck, dealers in livestock, and was one of the most prominent horsemen of the county
