PATOKA, Ind. June 5, -- David Evans died this morning at 7:30 o’clock at his  home a mile west of here as the result of paralysis, with which he was stricken several days ago. He was 77 years old and is survived by the widow, one daughter, Mrs. Maggie Thompson, of this vicinity, four grandchildren and one brother, James Evans, of Warrick county. He was a well known and respected farmer.

 

 

The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock, conducted by Rev. L. C.  Pritchett, of the M. E. church. Interment will be in the Oak Hill cemetery here.
