FT. BRANCH, Ind., March 10—(Special to
The Democrat)—The death of Mrs. Katherine Blythe occurred at 5 o’clock
Wednesday afternoon, March 8, 1916, at
her home here, following an illness due
to a complication of diseases.
The
funeral was held at 2 o’clock Friday at the General Baptist Church. Interment
was in the Walnut Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Blythe, youngest daughter of David
and Rebecca Robinson, was born at the old Robinson homestead two miles north of
here, on June 28, 1848.
She was married to Thomas Blythe October
30, 1870.
The deceased was 67 years old and is
survived by one son, Craig Blythe, of this place, a former resident of
Princeton, and three grandchildren, and two brothers, Richard and James
Robinson, who reside in the vicinity of this place.
Mrs. Blythe was a well-known and highly
esteemed woman and loved by all who knew her.
She was a member of the General Baptist
church at that place.
