Nathaniel
Martin Meade Obituary
Nathaniel Martin Meade was born near Blackwell, Oklahoma
January 17, 1903; died at the residence of his grandmother, Mrs. Nathaniel
Martin in Francisco, Ind., April 9, 1903, after an illness of fifteen days of
catarrhal pneumonia.
The funeral services were conducted April 10th at
the M.E. Church, by Bro. Willis, pastor of the G.B. church. The beautiful white
casket, covered by lovely flowers sent in by sympathizing friends, was tenderly
borne by four little girls as pall bearers and the interment was in the Odd
Fellows cemetery at Princeton, Ind.
Little Martin had only been in Indiana a short time, having
left papa and brothers so many hundred miles away, with his mama, to visit
grandparents, only to soon close his eyes never to open again in this world,
but to join his angel brother and sister gone on before.
The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.
