DEATH OF ALEX McCLURE

Dec 22, 1837-Mar 6, 1907

Wednesday night at 11 o'clock, at his home in Patoka, occurred the death of Alexander D. McClure, after several weeks illness. The funeral will be held from the fam­ily residence Friday morning at 9:30 and the body will be taken to Ft. Branch for interment

Deceased was in the 69th year of
his age.  He was a member of one
of the most prominent families of
Gibson county.  During the civil
war he served in Co. H, of the 17th,
and of five brothers who were in the;
war he is the first to die.  He leaves a wife, and five daughters, besides
six brothers and three sisters.
