Emma "Sissy" Kirk, 79 of Hazleton, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton. She worked for 20 years at Kirk Grain Elevator and for 15 years at Potter & Brumfield.

Sissy was born September 5, 1931 in Hazleton, IN to Velmer and Irene (Stiles) Hill, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis "Tub" Kirk in 2000; daughter, Carolyn Kirk; and a sister, Mildred Hill.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Kirk of Hazleton; grandchildren, Jessica (Justin) Ice of Hazleton and Lucas Kirk of Princeton; great grandchild, Evan Ice; sister, Barbara Hudelson of Cadiz, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Saturday December 11, 2010 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Evelyn Owens officiating. Burial will be at the Hazleton Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
