Orbie E. Johnson, 82, passed away Saturday, Dec.
4, 2010 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
Born July 18, 1928 in Casey County, Ky., he was the son of Elijah and
Eleanor (Fair) Johnson.
He was a retired loader operator for Scott
Timber in Patoka. He lived in Union for the past 18 months, moving there from Patoka
where they had lived many years.
He enjoyed gardening, doing mechanic work
and hunting in his younger years.
Survivors include his wife, Flossie of
Union; eight children, Sharlene Marvel of Evansville, Gene Johnson of Princeton, John Johnson of Union, Carl Johnson of Patoka, Dale Johnson of Hazleton, Orbie Johnson Jr. of Union, Billy Johnson of Owensville, Sandra Lewis of Winslow; eight
grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; four sisters; and an infant daughter,
Colleen Ann Johnson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 8, 2010 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Mike Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
