Mary Elizabeth Fanning, 80, passed away Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010.

She retired from St. Elizabeth’s after 30 years of service as a registered nurse.

Survivors include children, James Robert Fanning, Barbara Jane Krug, William Henry, Peggy Ann, John Richard Fanning; brother, Gordon (Eileen) Fitch; sister, Jane Cwik; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Garnet Fitch; brother, Robert Fitch; and a daughter, Nancy Louise Fanning.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. (eastern) Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 at St. Leonard’s Center, 8100 Clyo Road., Centerville, Ohio, with Father Loren Connell officiating.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday until the service hour at the funeral home.

Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. (central) Wednesday at Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City.
