Eugenia Elliott, 90, passed away Friday, Dec.
17, 2010 at St. Vincent
Hospice in Indianapolis.
She was born July 1, 1920 in Pike County to Jacob and Jennie (Hatfield) Catt.
She was a graduate of Mt. Olympus High School and attended Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Mt. Olympus. She was a life member of VFW Post 1147 Ladies
Auxiliary and was formerly an active member of the Gibson County Democrat
Women’s Club. Eugenia retired from the Gibson County Auditor’s
office. She resided in Petersburg for the past 11 years, formerly living in the Mt. Olympus community.
Eugenia is survived by her son, Joe
(Gloria) Elliott of Noblesville; a sister, Eloise Pancake of Amarillo, Texas; two grandchildren, Krista (Brent) Ash, Elisha (Jeff) Wright; and four great-grandchildren, Sophia,
Estella, Nathan and Kendra.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband, Melvin A. Elliott in 1987; a brother, Randall Catt; and a sister, Irene Hill.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. (central) Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Edman Stewart
officiating. Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery near Hazleton.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Colvin Funeral Home.
