Jerald S. Doane, 54, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at home.

Born March 1, 1956 in Green County, he was the son of Bob and Norma (Britton) Doane.

He was a member of Friendship General Baptist Church and was a school teacher at Vincennes Lincoln High School, a school bus driver in East Gibson School Corp. and had been a pastor at Mt.Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Washington.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Carol (Ivy) Doane of Princeton; children, Jeremy Doane of Princeton, Kristen Creasey of Oakland City; his  parents, Dr. Bob and Norma Doane of Evansville; sister, Sharlet Ash of Evansville brothers, Vincent Doane of Evansville, Bobby Doane of Newburgh; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010 at Providence Primitive Baptist near Francisco, with Dr. Bob Doane and Brother Dwight Cousert officiating. Burial will in Providence Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City and from noon until the service hour on Wednesday at the church.
