Georgia Helen (Eads) Brown, 61, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

Born Feb. 17, 1949 in Princeton, she was the daughter of Cornellius Eads and Edna Violet (Ivy) Thorne.

She was a member of the Eagles. She enjoyed shopping, arts, crafts and sewing.

Survivors include her mother, Edna Violet (Ivy) Thorne; three children; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 62 nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and seven brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her father; one daughter; one son; two brothers; one sister; and two nephews.

 A memorial service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010 at Short Funeral Home in Mt. Carmel.
