Jacob Ted Borah, 87, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton

He was born Aug. 19, 1923 in Princeton to Robert and Blanche Borah.

Ted, as he was known by family and friends, was employed at Hansen Corp. for more than 30 years and at Southern Indiana Tire for 10 years.  He was a veteran of WWII and served overseas.  He and his wife attended Evangel Temple (now Oasis) for many years.  He loved to travel with his wife to St. Louis, Mo. where they were married.  He also loved to spend time in the Smoky Mountains with family.  He loved old trains, collecting business cards and old coins.  Ted always had a smile on his face and an always-present sense of humor.  He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Frances Maxine Borah; son and daughter-in-law, Ted (Betty) Borah of Springville; daughter, Yvonne Ravellette of Princeton; four grandchildren, Kelly Ravellette of Princeton, Kandy Burns of Atlanta, Ga., Sherry Riggle of Springville; Terry Borah of Bloomington; three great- grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 There will be no services or visitation.  Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is handling arrangements.
