Mary Georgiana Wilhite, age 79, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Home and Rehab located in Oakland City.
She was born on May
11, 1931, in Princeton to George and Mary Louise (Graetz) Kunkel, who preceded her in death.
She was formerly an assembler at the former Potter &
Brumfield in Princeton. She was a lifelong area
resident and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was also a member of
the VFW
post 1147 Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary and a former
member of the Daughters of Isabella and the United Machinist Workers Union.
Surviving are sons, James Robert Wilhite,
of Seattle, Wash., George Michael (Angie) Wilhite, of
Princeton and Donald (Traci) Wilhite, of Fairfield, Ill.; daughters, Donna Marie
(Marcel) Boulicault, of Arnold, Mo., Clara Louise Heavey, of Hillsboro, Mo., Mollye
Ann Wilhite of Grayville, Ill., and Mary Rose (Roosevelt) Black, of Pensacola, Fla.. Other survivors include
sister, Virginia (Ernie) Littler, of Golden, Colo.; 16 grandchildren, 14
great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; lifelong friends; James
Bammer, of Patoka; and Earl Lewis, of Princeton.
Funeral services are Thursday
November 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Doyle Funeral Home located
at 520 S. Main St., Princeton, IN 47670. Internment is in St. Joseph
Cemetery of Princeton. Visitation is Wednesday November
3, 2010, from 4 to 8
p.m., with a VFW Ladies Auxiliary service at 6
