Jeanne (Hary) Dauby, 81, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010 at home in Princeton

She was born Aug. 9, 1929 in Vincennes and moved to Princeton in 1955.  She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Princeton Garden Club, Princeton Elks, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a former member and Board of Directors at the Princeton Country Club.  She was also the former editor for Princeton Daily Clarion.  She was an avid gardener with her many flowers and was a loyal St. Louis Cardinal’s fan her entire life.

She is survived by her daughter, Jana Mitchell; son and daughter-in-law, J.R. and Cathy Hary of Princeton; step-children, Barb (Dauby) and Alan Wade of Haubstadt, Jesse and Holly Dauby of Princeton; grandchildren, Ryan and Laura (Wade) Nunn of Robards, Ky., Chad and Samantha (Hary) Keeker if Francisco, Trent and Dr. Jessica (Hary) McEllhiney of Princeton, Adam and Ashley (Wade) Spalding of Evansville, Joshua Mitchell of Boise, Idaho, Erin Wade and Bobby Wade of Haubstadt, Specialist Gentry and Kelsey Mitchell stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii at Schofield Barracks, McKenna Dauby of Princeton; great grandchildren, Allie and Katie Nunn and Wylee Keeker.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Martha Feagans of Vincennes; her husband, Ralph “OttsDauby of Princeton; and a brother, Joe Feagans of Vincennes.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday Oct. 11, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, with Father Ronald Zgunda as the celebrant. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Princeton

Visitation was from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
