Clarence E. (Gene) Niederhaus,72 of Owensville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 4, at Select Hospital in Evansville.

He was born Dec. 8, 1937, in Vanderburgh Co. to the Clarence and Esther Carol (Howey) Niederhaus, who preceded him in death.

He was a Korean War veteran.

He is survived by a son Curtis Edward Niederhaus of Dallas, Texas, a brother David E. Niederhaus of Newport Beach, Calif., and a grandson, Conner Niederhaus.

There will be no visitation or service. Cremation is planned. Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch is in charge of arrangements.
