Marvin N. Kramer, 76, of Fort Branch,
passed away Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010
at Transcendant Healthcare of Owensville.
Born Jan. 10, 1934 in Gibson
County, he was the son of Noble and
Emma (Kracht) Kramer.
He graduated from Fort Branch
High School in 1951 and served in
the U.S. Army from 1957-59. He was employed at Meny's
Gas and Appliance for 30 years. He enjoyed farming, fishing, and camping.
Marvin was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Fort
Branch, the Fort Branch Masonic
Lodge 696, the Fort Branch Order of Eastern Star 455, the Evansville Scottish
Rite, American Legion Post 351, and the Fort Branch VFW Post 2714.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Louise (Jaqumai)
Kramer, whom he married Feb. 21, 1953; a daughter, Lisa Rose Burger of Fort
Branch; three sons, Kevin (Jenny) Kramer of Patoka, Kelly (Ellen) Kramer and
Keith (Dee) Kramer both of Fort Branch; seven grandchildren, Kris, Katie, Kyle,
Kurt, Kasey, Kelsea, and
Kendra Kramer; a sister, Joan (Shade) Dukes of Shelbyville; and several nieces
and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert and Kenneth
Kramer.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Friday, Sept. 24, 2010 at Stodghill Funeral Home on Ind. 168 West in Fort
Branch, with Pastor John Heumann officiating. Burial will be in Walnut
Hill Cemetery
in Fort Branch.
Military services will be conducted at the graveside by VFW Post 2714.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m.Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010 at the funeral home,
where at 7:30 p.m., Masonic and
Eastern Star services will be conducted by the Fort Branch Masonic Lodge 696
and Eastern Star 455.
