Fern Willis, 86, passed away Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010 at home.

Born Nov. 11,1923 in Oakland City, she was the daughter of Denzel and Alta (Randolph) Garrison.

She was employed for several years at Wirth Regional Hospital in Oakland City as a nurse’s aid.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Cox of Winslow;sisters, Shirley Houchin of Oakland City, Jenett Riley of Petersburg; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. (central) Wednesday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City with the Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in Winslow.

Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday.
