Nina L. Thompson, 93, passed away Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010.

Born July 12, 1917 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Harvey and Leota (Baker) Maners.

On Oct. 1, 1938, she married Myers E. Thompson. She was a 1935 graduate of Bloomfield High School and a member of the Faith Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Larry (Carolyn) Thompson of Noblesville, Robert (Kathe) Thompson of Princeton; a sister, Wiletta “Billie” Brown of Bloomfield; 10 grandchildren; 35 grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Blanch Edwards, Jean Huffman; her husband, Myers; and son, Richard.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 18, 2010 at Faith Christian Church in Bloomfield with the Rev. Arlen Pope and the Rev. Henry Mann Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service hour Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
