Betty Jane Stevens, 77 of Princeton, passed away Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010 at The Waters in Princeton. 

Betty was born Sept. 17, 1932 in Princeton to Edward Alfred and Ora Ann (Howell) Stevens.

She was a member of the VFW 1147 Ladies Auxiliary.

She worked as a housekeeper and babysitter retiring in 2000.

 She is survived by her sister, Mary Magdaline Sloan; sister-in-law, Ruth Stevens; special caregiver, Jessika Robertson; and several nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Osborne Elwood Stevens, Billy Gene Stevens; sister, Wanda Lee Stevens; and special friend, Kenny Moore.

 Funeral services will be at 2 p.m Friday, Aug. 27, 2010 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Jeremy Moore officiating. Burial will be at the Archer Cemetery in Princeton. 

Visitation will be noon until 2 p.m. on Friday at Colvin Funeral Home.
