Nicyann E. “Ann” Jones, 96 of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010 at Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton. 

Nicyann was born Feb. 19, 1914 in Knox County to Theopilus W. and Mary E. (Walden) Snyder.

She retired from Gibson General Hospital where she was an aide for 33 years.  She was a member of the Eagles and Moose auxiliaries.

 She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Beulah Briggs of Princeton, her caregiver; and special friends, Dennis and Diane Abel of Princeton, who also helped care for her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Lester P. Jones in 1972. 

 Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, 2010 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Bob McDonald officiating. Burial will be at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. 

Visitation will be from noon until the service hour on Friday at Colvin Funeral Home.
