Henry F. Hatfield, 86, of Arthur, passed
away Friday, Aug. 27, 2010
at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City.
Born Feb. 18, 1924 in Pike County, he was the son of William and Rhoda (McCarty)
Hatfield.
He was a member of Arthur General Baptist Church also member of the Patoka Township Volunteer Fire Dept. He was
employed at several furniture factories in Dale and Huntingburg and worked at Farbest Foods.
Survivors include caregivers, Shirley Edrington of Winslow, Golda Brothers of Evansville; and
several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents;
wife, Ruth Hatfield on July 16, 2009; sisters, Mary Brown, Lela Nolan, Ann
Hall; and brother, William Hatfield.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. (eastern) Tuesday at Sunset Cemetery near Winslow, with the Rev. Terry Beadles officiating.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel.
Family and friends will gather at cemetery
for celebration of life services.
