Lena Henton, 88, passed away Monday, July 12, 2010 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 26, 1922 in Saline County, Ill.

She had been employed at Coffman Manufacturing/Garment Manufacturing Co.

Survivors include daughters, Sheila (Harold0 Howell of Fairfield, Ill., Geneva (Ed) McGrew of Geff, Ill.; son, Perry (Pat) Atkinson of Patoka;  brother, Pete Slankard of Noble, Ill.; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 17 great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Eva (Dorsey) Slankard; and two brothers.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, Ill. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
