Jimmie Sue Cummins, 76 of Princeton, passed away Monday, July 26, 2010 at The Waters in Princeton

Jimmie Sue was born Aug. 3, 1933 in Troy, Ala. 

On Aug. 26, 1956, she married John Cummins in Troy

She was a vocal school music teacher for 34 years.  She taught in Alabama, Evansville, Princeton and county schools.  She directed several different church choirs and sang solos and in groups.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton

 Jimmie Sue is survived by her husband, John of Princeton; son, Mark (Shelly) Cummins of Princeton; daughter, Suzette (Brad) Devereaux of Golden, Colo.; brother, Edward Harris of Guntersville, Ala.; and grandchildren, Kyle Cummins, Hannah Cummins, Jacob Cummins and Madelyn Cummins all of Princeton.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Jonathan Cummins.

 A Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Princeton, with Pastor George Prinzing officiating.
