Donald L. Bickers, 64, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010, at Select Specialty Hospital of Evansville.

He was born in Newton, Ill. to Jack and Eva (Brown) Bickers. 

He worked at Farm Bureau Insurance for 25 years in Poseyville. He was a member of Crossroads Christian Church in Evansville and was active in the choir mission trips and the Haiti mission trips.  He had been a reserve deputy for the Posey County Sheriff’s Dept. and former board member of Camp Illiana.

Survivors include his wife, Karen (Butler) Bickers; a son, Nathan Bickers; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Morris Bickers.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m.Wednesday at Crossroads Christian Church in Evansville with Pastors Ken Idleman and Bob Berry officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Cynthiana.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday and 2 p.m. until the service hour Wednesday at the church.
