William Broc Bent, 58, of Fort Branch, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010 at his residence. 

Born Dec. 17, 1951 in Evansville, he was the son of John W. and Marshetta (Saulmon) Bent.

He was employed at Flagger Lawn Spraying Service in Palm Coast, Fla. and was a member of the Palm Coast Moose Lodge 2577.

Survivors include his mother, Marshette Bent of Fort Branch; two brothers, Gregory (Jackie) Bent of Fort Branch, John (Linda) Bent of Indianapolis; an aunt, Margaret Saulmon of Evansville; five nieces and nephews, Keri (Brett) Brown, Andy (Lora) Bent, Rebecca (Doug) Roberts, Scott Bent and Chris Bent.

He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Bent.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Stodghill Funeral Home on Ind. 168 West in Fort Branch with Dr. James Cramer will officiating.  Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch.

Visitation will be at 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the funeral home.
