Brett A French, 50, of Fort Branch passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

Born Feb. 1, 1960 in Evansville, he was the son of Jesse and Delores (Conner) French. 

He was a member of the Fort Branch General Baptist Church, worked as an engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad and was a local chairman for the United Transportation Union.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Jackie (Conner) French of Fort Branch; and a daughter, Michelle French of Fort Branch. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2010 at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with the Rev. Steve Akins officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Stodghill Funeral Home.
