Janet L. (Coomer) Shoemaker, 64, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at home.

Born July 21, 1945 in Petersburg, she was the daughter of Russell and Oneida M. McFarland Coomer.

Survivors include her mother; husband, Dallas Shoemaker of Owensville; son, Darren Ledgerwood of Columbia City; daughter, Darla Brueaker of Bluffton; brother, Darrell Coomer of Petersburg; and sister, Marilyn Palmer of Washington, Ind.; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. (eastern) Friday at Anderson Chapel Cemetery in Petersburg. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg.
