Donald L. Sanderson, 74, of Oatsville passed away on Sunday June 20, 2010 at his home. He lived in Oatsville for 25 years coming from Willisville, IN. He was a member of the Petersburg General Baptist Church. He was retired from Werner Sawmill in Ireland, IN. He loved to play music, fish, hunt and work in his flowers.

Donald was born on October 26, 1935 to Delbert & Alma (Friener) Sanderson, both deceased. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Cecil Sanderson.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Betty (Sutton) Sanderson; daughter and son-in-law, Selena (Sanderson) and Robert Isaacs of Petersburg, IN; 2 grandchildren, Susan (Isaacs) and Justin Hart of Winlsow, IN and Curtis and Mindy Isaacs of Oakland City, IN; great grandson, Billy Hart; 2 step-great grandchildren, Landon Hart and Zoey Williams; 4 sisters, Gerry (Sam) Ooley of Spencer, IN, Sandy (Tony) Mueller of Hopkinsville, KY, Joyce Bryant of Florida, Judy (Carl) Willis of Winslow, IN; brother, Paul Sanderson of Missouri.

Funeral Services will be held graveside at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Atkinson Cemetery in Oatsville, IN., officiated by Rev. Chalmer Burden. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home, Oakland City is in charge of arrangements.
