Sherry (Almon) McGill, 59, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at her residence in Safety Harbor, Fla.

She was born March 22, 1951 in Evansville, to Robert and Marcia (Reed) Almon.

She was a registered nurse and had worked at General Electric and as a hospice nurse.

Sherry was a graduate of Owensville High School class of 1969 and Deaconess School of Nursing. She enjoyed spending time on the beach and going on cruises.

She is survived by her son, Justin (Danielle) Curtis of Boone, N.C. ; her parents; a brother, Rick ( Sheron) Almon; four nephews and a niece, all of Owensville.

She was preceded in death by her sister Janie (Almon) Peach.

Her wishes were to be cremated. There will be no service.
